What are Nudges?

Nudges are WhatsApp reminder messages sent to customers who visited your store through a referral link but haven’t received a message recently. They help re-engage dormant referrers and encourage them to share again or complete a purchase.

Prerequisites

Before sending nudges, ensure you have:
  1. An active campaign — nudges require a running campaign.
  2. A WhatsApp provider configured in WhatsApp Settings.
  3. The Nudge Reminder Template (nudgeConfig) configured and enabled in WhatsApp Settings.

How to Send Nudges

  1. Go to Apps → Referbro → Nudge Users.
  2. Set Days since last message — only users who haven’t received a WhatsApp message in this many days will be targeted.
    • Default: 7 days
    • Valid range: 1 to 365 days
  3. Click Send Nudge Messages.

Who Gets Nudged?

The system automatically identifies users who:
  • Have visited your store through a referral link
  • Haven’t received a WhatsApp message in the specified number of days
  • Have a valid phone number for messaging

Results

After sending, you’ll see a summary:
  • Successful nudges — Messages sent successfully
  • Total eligible users — Users who met the criteria
  • Errors — Any failures (up to 5 shown, with a count of remaining)
Nudge messages are sent to all eligible users at once. Use the “days since last message” parameter to control how frequently users are re-engaged.
