The Dashboard

When you first open Referbro (or any time you visit the home screen), you’ll see a guided onboarding dashboard with a progress tracker. It walks you through the essential setup steps.

Setup Steps

1. Getting Started

An overview of what Referbro can do:
  • Create referral campaigns that drive customer acquisition
  • Send automated WhatsApp messages to referrers and referees
  • Track performance with detailed analytics
  • Reward customers with discounts, store credit, or gifts

2. Connect Your Store

Automatic — your Shopify store is connected when you install the app. The dashboard shows your store name and URL once connected.

3. Create Your First Campaign

Set up your referral campaign with discount strategies, reward types, and widget messaging. Click Create Campaign Now to go directly to Campaign Settings.

4. Setup WhatsApp

Connect a WhatsApp Business API provider to send automated referral messages. Click Configure WhatsApp to go to WhatsApp Settings.

5. Setup Touchpoints

Enable the widgets and WhatsApp templates that engage customers throughout their journey. Click Configure Touchpoints to go to Touchpoints & Triggers. The dashboard shows a touchpoint checklist with:
  • Widgets — Theme embeds and checkout extensions (links to Shopify Theme Editor)
  • WhatsApp Messages — Template slots and their enable/disable status (links to WhatsApp Settings)

Progress Tracking

The progress bar at the top shows how many of the 5 steps you’ve completed. Incomplete steps expand by default so you can pick up where you left off.
